Shortwave

Ponderously dull sci-fi movie of the sort indie filmmakers sometimes seem inclined to make, the kind where an opening credit lets you know it’s “A Film By” and not a “movie”. A couple’s young daughter gets abducted. A year later, they’re still suffering from it, and they get moved out to a remote but high-tech home in the woods where he discovers extraterrestrial shortwave transmissions that also somehow cause her to hallucinate and think she’s seeing her daughter.
