Oatmeal
Season with:
fenugreek (not much! Fenugreek gets bitter when there’s too much of it.)
Ceylon cinnamon—lots of it. This is different from what Americans usually call cinnamon, which is cassia cinnamon and much less healthy for you. Cassia cinnamon contains lots of coumarin, which will mess you up if you eat too much of it. Coincidentally, anyone who was a kid in the ’70s will be delighted to discover that those old scented magic markers, where the brown was labeled “cinnamon” but didn’t really smell like cinnamon”, actually smelled like Ceylon cinnamon.
Dark chocolate unsweetened cocoa powder
Black seeds (not black sesame, black seeds, Nigella sativa)
A dash (be careful!) of hot chipotle powder
a good bit of coconut flour or shredded coconut
powdered ginger
add lots of water. More than you think you need. This stuff will soak up water like a sponge and turn to cement.
microwave 3 minutes.
optional, after cooking: banana slices
